Continuous Improvement Manager (automotive)

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures adherence to the principles of lean manufacturing;
  • Assists and mentors plant management with planning and facilitation of strategic plans, kaizen workshops, and other lean activities;
  • Coaches and trains plant leaders in lean manufacturing and problem-solving principles;
  • Ensures successful implementation of forecasts;
  • Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches necessary to meet production requirements for new or improved products and / or processes;
  • Determines from part drawings and related engineering data the operations necessary for product manufacturing and assembling;
  • Develops the sequence of operations as well as the timeline estimated for each operation specification.

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Operations Management / Industrial Engineering, or other comparable engineering degree;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in various manufacturing / operations roles, including supervision;
  • 5 years of successful experience with implementing lean manufacturing;
  • Good skills of using computer and Microsoft Office programs;
  • Romanian & English language are a must, German is an advantage;
  • Communication and Leadership skills, reliability, responsibility.
