Continuous Improvement Manager (automotive)
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures adherence to the principles of lean manufacturing;
- Assists and mentors plant management with planning and facilitation of strategic plans, kaizen workshops, and other lean activities;
- Coaches and trains plant leaders in lean manufacturing and problem-solving principles;
- Ensures successful implementation of forecasts;
- Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches necessary to meet production requirements for new or improved products and / or processes;
- Determines from part drawings and related engineering data the operations necessary for product manufacturing and assembling;
- Develops the sequence of operations as well as the timeline estimated for each operation specification.
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business / Operations Management / Industrial Engineering, or other comparable engineering degree;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in various manufacturing / operations roles, including supervision;
- 5 years of successful experience with implementing lean manufacturing;
- Good skills of using computer and Microsoft Office programs;
- Romanian & English language are a must, German is an advantage;
- Communication and Leadership skills, reliability, responsibility.
