Our client is a software development and implementation services provider with offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and Romania. They deliver Business Process Management (BPM) software solutions to their clients which offers them a competitive advantage and a way to adapt easily to change in the market. Is a niche player with a focus on three BPM systems: Pegasystems, Mendix and Bonitasoft. They are a strategic Pegasystems Alliance Partner since 2011.The company is planning to extend her activities in Romania and other EU countries by using the strategic partnership with Pegasystems.

Project Presentation:

 Pega PRPC is a BPM unified platform with everything you need to deliver “end-to-end” customer experiences by integrating, automating and improving complex front- and back-office business operations. Pega is used as a platform for describing business processes and workflows in order to get turned more-or-less directly into runnable software. It uses a 6.4x faster than Java Enterprise Edition to build robust business applications, according to an independent study by Cap Gemini. With Pega platform companies can build applications that meet the diverse needs of multiple business units, channels, products, geographies and customer segments. Many of the world’s leading organizations use Pega to drive revenue growth, improve customer experience, and enhance operational efficiency. Responsabilities:

  • Provide technical advice and guidance on how to organize, design and build PRPC-based (PegaRULES Process Commander) solutions
  • Develop and build applications within BPM company in a fast-paced object oriented environment
  • Create POCs to demonstrate how the PRPC product capabilities work and how they can be leveraged to meet project requirements
  • Design and build components of the BPM solution(s), as required
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues regarding the built systems
  • Assist delivery team with the packaging, migration and deployment of rule sets and related assets, to upstream environments
  • Assist with triage and remediation of defects
  • Collaborate with the BPM company clients in order to ensure adherence to corporate design standards
  • Encourage adherence to PRPC best practice design guardrails
  • Facilitate technology and integration related decisions
  • Assist the project team in training the users
  • Contribute to the improvement of governance process and business workflows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related area
  • At least 1-2 year experience in developing and maintaining applications (BPM experience is considered a plus)
  • Experience with agile, iterative and waterfall development methodologies
  • Strong Object Oriented Programming background – preferred Java EE
  • Experience in integration of application – Web Services, Queuing Mechanisms, File, HTTP, SQL, etc.
  • Understanding of HTML & XML, and to a lesser extent JavaScript & AJAX
  • Strong understanding of relational databases & their components
  • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture, WebApp Deployments/Architecture
  • Understanding of the concept of business process flows (workflow)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to self-organize and work independently
  • Customer oriented and focus on delivering value for our partners
  • Willingness to study and constantly improve knowledge
